Alumni Under a Blue Gray Sky

Notre Dame has the most inclusive alumni ticketing process of any high-demand program in the nation. The University remains committed to continuing that access. In addition, the percentage of tickets dedicated to alumni is among the highest in collegiate athletics. Our mission is to create a system that enables as many alumni as possible to return to campus each fall for a football game.

2006 revisions to football ticket lottery successful in increasing Alumni opportunities!

As many of you know, there was unprecedented demand for Notre Dame football tickets in the recent general alumni ticket lotteries. The University has responded to the high demand by revising guidelines that will reallocate tickets among several groups in order to increase opportunities in the general alumni lottery. This reallocation means that alumni contributing at the minimum gift level will have higher win percentages going forward.

Alumni Ticket Access Opportunities

General Alumni Ticket Lottery

All contributing alumni are eligible to receive a football ticket application to participate in the general alumni ticket lottery as outlined in the Football Ticket Lottery Guidelines.

Join a Recognition Society

All Notre Dame alumni, parents, and friends are invited to participate in the ticket lottery as special contributors as outlined in the Football Ticket Lottery Guidelines. Special contributors are those individuals who support the University at the annual giving level of $1,500 or more – usually through the Sorin Society or one of the University’s other recognition societies. Special contributor applications have improved chances for success to multiple home games in the lottery. Read more about the University’s recognition societies.

New season tickets available for a historic cause

To fund repairs to our historic Notre Dame Stadium, Notre Dame will be selling season tickets on an annual basis. Season tickets will be awarded through a prioritized lottery system.

The revenue generated through the ticket plan will be used to assist in paying for repairs and ongoing maintenance to the 76-year-old Notre Dame Stadium’s original seating bowl. The exact cost of the project is yet to be finalized, but is expected to exceed $40 million. Learn more about the preservation.

The tickets will be sold first to our alumni and the Notre Dame community, then to the general public. In addition to the face value of the tickets, the cost will include a ticket rights fee based on seat location.
